Six Days In
kgmeloy, March 21, 2020 – day 1

it’s no little thing you said us staying here alone
limiting our touch to glass and talking on the phone
but lately its becoming old and i don’t know what to do
and distancing myself from it will keep me here with you

ahh ahhh….

turning off the tv though I’m feeling kinda blue
opening the shutters even though i hate the view
i’d give a million bucks or two to have you here tonight
as everything i thought I knew is fading from my sight

timing isn’t everything, but it can be enough
withdrawal from the touch of you is getting kinda rough
but i’m gaining patience and i’m learning how to deal
really need a method to recall how i should feel
