been on hold, now what to do?
careful what you go back to

wake up, you’re dreaming
your head’s on the ceiling
those days of defiance are dead
carry on lightly
we’ll make it through nightly
a dream of the future instead

careful what you answer to
something old and nothing new

wake up you dreamers|
and bashful redeemers
the time of reaction is past
it may seem slight
in the fading of light
but measure by measure we last
